I went on my first mission trip in October 2018 to Belize with RCMI. It was one of the most eye opening moments I've ever had. God moves in so many different ways, and I realized how under privileged so many other countries are. People like you and me can make a difference no matter how big or small! He took this small town country boy across the seas and I had the time of my life fellowshipping with some amazing people of Christ.
Going to Haiti in 2013 was a life changing experience. This trip came at a time in my life when I needed a push in the right direction. I will never forget how the people of Haiti truly appreciated God's will. It is nothing like we see in America today. There's many ways to witness how God works through others; but a short-term missions trip is where it's at.
Going to Guatemala has opened up my heart to change! Changed in the way I pray, in the way I fellowship with others, in the way I worship, in the way I give and the way I love. I go to Guatemala to be the hands and feet for Jesus and I always come back, and with new friends.
Church of the Hills in Lometa, TX. I grew up in church and often heard missionaries share. I hoped one day to go on a mission trip. On a Wed night in 2018 I felt God prompting me, and I committed to go on a trip to Belize with Dr. Olson. The trip changed my life. The last night of the trip, as I lay on my bed, God's presence overwhelmed me, and I will never look at missions the same again. I would totally recommend going on a mission trip with Dr. Paul & Marcy Olson. They are the real deal!
